Approach
I strongly believe in fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship where individuals feel valued and understood. Together, we will identify your strengths and challenges to create treatment goals aligned with your values and aspirations.
I use a range of customized approaches and techniques to meet each individual's unique needs. Creating a secure base is essential in building trust and a feeling of safety within our therapeutic relationship. My focus includes emotional regulation, co-regulation, mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, and relational skills building.
I draw from techniques such as EMDR to reframe limiting beliefs. Furthermore, I integrate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, emphasizing acceptance, mindfulness, and behavior change strategies, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to tackle harmful thought patterns and cognitive distortions.
As someone who understands and identifies with the experience of being neurodivergent, I utilize a neuroaffirming approach with clients.
